Duties of the Sergeant of Arms are to:

• A Sergeant of Arms or Sergeant at Arms (sometimes spelled Serjeant at Arms) is an officer appointed by a deliberative body to keep order during its meetings. The word sergeant is derived from the Latin serviens, which means "servant". The posts of sergeants at arms are primarily to enforce order at the direction of the chair and to assist in practical details of organizing meetings.
• You need to be in attendance at all General Meetings. You are to keep order and conduct at all meetings.
• You are to arrive early to General Meetings and help in setting up the meeting area. (Chairs, Tables, Podium, Attendance Tables, etc..). You are also to help with cleaning up after General Meetings.
• You are our disciplinarians; you are responsible for keeping members quiet during the meetings and respectful of the other officers.
